HI THERE!

Thanks so much for visiting my site! Here is a little background on me and my journey to CM Cookies. ☺️

I started dabbling in sugar arts after college in 2012. Having eight nieces and nephews, there were plenty of opportunities to make special desserts for birthday celebrations and other occasions. These creations led to several bakery jobs throughout graduate school, primarily working on extravagant cakes. I “retired” from cakes to pursue a career at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, where I have been working since 2018.

However, when the pandemic hit and resulted in a new abundance of time, I jumped back into the world of sweets as a creative outlet. With cookies—rather than cakes—being much more conducive to my small apartment, I started making custom orders for close friends and family. Little did I know it would turn into a full-fledged business! CM Cookies is registered with both a NYS Home Processor license and a Connecticut Cottage license, meaning I make everything from my home and operate as a one-woman show.

When I'm not working at the museum, I'm usually working on cookie orders, but in the rare instance that I have some free time you can find me cuddling on the couch with my Korean Jindo Ember watching Gilmore Girls on repeat, planning my next vacation, or getting lost in a fantasy book series (shoutout to Sarah J. Maas)!
